So, as you probably know by now, the Royals have lost two in a row, falling to the hated Cardinals and falling to two games below .500 in the process.
What’s remarkable, is how often the Royals are getting picked off. They lost six men on the basepaths in two games between baserunning gaffs, and Billy Butler simply looked lost in getting tagged out yesterday.
Unfortunately, the Royals didn’t have to face something like in the video below. They only had to face normal pickoff moves, and they still couldn’t hack it.
Sure, other things, like, say, walking two men with the bases loaded, hurt the team yesterday in a 9-8 loss to the Cards. But I’m blaming baserunning errors, mostly because I found this video.
